Web site tricks?

It seems everyone has heard of some way of beating search engines.

Just when we think we've heard them all, something new comes out. A word of caution, don't try tricks like repeating keywords in the body of the page (domain, domain, etc.) or trying to bury repeated text in the background by coloring it the same color as the background. While you may add more text to the page, your web site will likely be regarded as SPAM by the search engines and will soon be de-listed.

Some things you can do are adding alternative text to images and using keywords in comment descriptions throughout the pages. In addition, use the keywords identified in you META tags that apply to the content.

Most of all, unless you use website optimization software, proper placement of keywords and content will just be guess work.
